[edit] Welcome!

When posting to my talk page, I have a couple of requests that I would like you to keep in mind:

  1. When starting a new discussion, please put it in its own section. The easiest way to do this is the click on the "+" tab at the top of the page and then give the discussion a title.
  2. Please be specific. Comments like "Why did you make that edit?" will get us both nowhere. Which edit? To what article?
  3. I don't expect you to watch my talk page. I'll leave my response on your talk page unless you tell me otherwise.
  4. And finally, please sign your comments. You can do this by putting four tildes at the end of your comments like this: ~~~~

Thanks, Dismas|(talk)

[edit] Stephanie Adams

After contacting Goddessy.com to inquire about the information mentioned in the article on Stephanie Adams, they confirmed that the information was false and defamatory and she sued as a result of it. They also said that they would be contacting Wikipedia's general counsel to have this information removed. But I just removed it because it was never added in the beginning and the person who added it was doing so to be malicious. When mentionings in articles might constitute some sort of libel, it might be better off to avoid the issue entirely. Don't you think? Swiksek (talk) 15:00, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spencer Scott

You mentioned in passing during the debate about Stephanie Adams about a personal Playboy collection. Can you do me a favour and check in the collection to see what birthdate is given for Spencer Scott, October 2007? An anon IP just changed it from the 4th to the 5th... and while I'm fairly sure its vandalism, I'd like to nail it down for sure. Tabercil (talk) 23:38, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

  • No probs with the delay. Most Playmates have listings on things like IMDB, but not Spencer. As a result, one of my favorite fast checks isn't valid. :( Tabercil (talk) 00:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
    • I see you corrected it... thank you! Tabercil (talk) 21:00, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] watching online

Further to my comments at WP:RD/E, you might like http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/television/Doctor_Who_%282005%29.html Start with 1.1 and ignore Season 0: they're specials, and fit in at the end of each series. See episode list for order. Enjoy. Gwinva (talk) 00:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I would do well to emulate you...

... or stay off the Miscellaneous RD entirely. That particular poster got my ire up and I was barely civil (and not particularly coherent) in my response. Yours was entirely decent in tone and content, and I want you to know that I admire that. We need more folks like you, here, there, and everywhere :-) -- humbly, Deborahjay (talk) 15:57, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Occams razor

Just wondering what you found so funny about my mention of Occam's razor?

I have a weird sense of humour! I read it as a sort of pun, Tarzan trying to shave with Occam's razor. This gave me the mental picture of Tarzan swinging in through the window of William of Ockham's priory and swinging out again with a razor, shaving brush and soap. -- Q Chris (talk) 14:02, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re CAPS

[edit] Image Jeri Ryan

Hi!

Just wonder why the image on Jeri Ryan on this page Seven of Nine is unacceptable on Jeri Ryan. If it is non-free, shouldn't it be removed from the first page aswell?

Paxinum (talk) 21:15, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

  • I can answer this... look on your own page for the explanation. Tabercil (talk) 21:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Susan Kiger

My link did not require a membership, so why lie? and if the fact that it cannot be prooved she was the 1st - you could have deleted it as I have done. Fact is she did perform in porn. I have seen it and so can everyone else. Riveira2 (talk) 02:17, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Riveira —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riveira2 (talkcontribs)

Sorry about the user page - but the reference you deleted has nothing to do with the link I posted in the edit comment box to download, If it does require membership it didn't ask me for one. There is no membership required for the site referenced as a reference source. Riveira2 (talk) 02:17, 2 June 2008 (UTC) Riveira

[edit] Watchlist email notification

I just replied to you under Watchlist email notification. If you follow up, could you please let me know on my talk page? Cheers.--Mak Allen (talk) 06:20, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Adele Stephens. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Issuecheck (talk) 22:54, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The random Keeley stuff

Hey there, just trying to avoid an edit war.

The main reason why I don't think it's ironic is that her role in Cashback was just topless work. In other words, it was identical to her current line of work. Also, as it would fit better under "other work" rather than "modelling," I've removed the mention of it again.

That's all. : D Meamvagabond (talk) 00:15, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
