[edit] Thank you
I just wanted to thank you for the barnstar you left on my user talk page. The situation over at Talk:DSM cautionary statement was starting to seem a little tiresome and pointless, so I greatly appreciated your recognition. Incidentally, if you do agree with my position about that article, you may want to give your opinions on the talk page, although hopefully the situation will be resolved soon (fingers crossed). Thank you again for the kind compliments. Happy editing! –Sommers (Talk) 12:38, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2007 NBA Draft
Hi, I was wondering what your source was for the 8.4% number in the draft lottery section of 2007 NBA Draft. I've tried to cite it, but I couldn't find it through a quick Google News search. Thanks. --Ytny (talk) 12:15, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I'm actually not sure how to cite it. I mean, nobody's going to say 1+1=2 is original research, but this one isn't as simple. And I'm not sure who I'd ask. I think your math is right, so I'm just going to leave it as is, and we can worry about it if someone objects. Cheers. 19:21, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Michael Steel
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Michael Steel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Postcard Cathy 19:34, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yvette D. Clarke

[edit] A weird line I noticed
Hey man, I was looking at Opinion polling for the Democratic Party (United States) presidential primaries, 2008 and saw that you put in a line saying "The public is generally sampled by land-line telephone only," and I just wanted to ask how you determined that. Not trying to be combative, just curious. --JMurphy (talk) 21:50, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of The Go-Getter (film)
I have nominated The Go-Getter (film), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Go-Getter (film). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Steak for Chicken
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Steak for Chicken, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Alicia Ross Article
Hi Dave, is it possible to cite the original news articles at all? Forums are normally to be avoided; while I don't doubt that the posts are straight copies of the original material, without any editorial oversight there's no guarantee. Anyway, I'll let you get on with it as you see fit! Marasmusine (talk) 14:50, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
