The Dalarna University or 'Högskolan Dalarna' in Swedish, is a university college (högskola) located in Falun and Borlänge, in Dalarna County, Sweden.
Högskolan Dalarna is one of Sweden’s more recent universities, established in 1977. It is situated in Dalarna, 200 kilometres north-west of Stockholm.
The University currently has about 10 000 students. Approximately half of them study in Falun, the administrative capital of the province, while the rest study in the neighbouring town of Borlänge.
