The Cypriot British community, consists of people originating from then Mediterranean island of Cyprus who were born and/or raised in the United Kingdom. They are either of Greek or Turkish descent. Numbering over 430,000 (around 300,000 Greek Cypriots and 130,000 Turkish Cypriots), the Cypriot British community is the largest overseas Cypriot community on the planet.

Although there was a Cypriot presence in Britain since the 17th century, the majority Cypriots (from both sides of the island) emigrated from Cyprus between 1974-1995 because of the economic and social deprivation, mainly a result of the ongoing international embargo on the TRNC.
