[edit] Population
According to the 2001 UK Census, 21,601 people born in Barbados were living in the United Kingdom, and considering the growth rate of the British African-Caribbean community, there could be up to 60,000, if not more Barbadian people in the UK. This represents around 0.1% of the British population, and is one of the country's largest Caribbean communities, after the huge 400,000 plus Jamaican British community.[3]
