Latin American cinema

The Cinema of Uruguay has a role in the Culture of Uruguay. The industry has many actors and directors that made the Uruguayan cinema a part of Latin American cinema.

Juan Antonio Borges's Almas de la Costa (1923) is considered the first Uruguayan film.[1] Some Uruguayan film directors are Israel Adrián Caetano, Juan Pablo Rebella, Pablo Stoll.
