Chris Chester (born Wakefield, United Kingdom) is a rugby league player who has played for Halifax, Wigan Warriors and Hull F.C. in the English rugby league competition.

The former Stanley Rangers Junior was captain of England Schools before he signed as a professional with Halifax Blue Sox. He made an impression in the Super League in the 1998 season where he was the runner up in the Young Player of the Year awards.

Wigan Warriors then signed him soon after and at the JJB Stadium he appeared for the ‘Cherry and Whites’ in the 2000 Grand Final against St. Helens.

After spending seven years at Hull FC, Chester joined Hull Kingston Rovers for their inaugural season in Super League after signing a two year contract. In 2006 Chester made 13 appearances while in 2005 he played 20 times, scoring 6 tries.
