Calmar is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Leduc County, on Highway 39, 35 kilometres (22 mi) south-west from Edmonton.

In 2001, the town population was 1,902[3]; the 2005 estimate was 1,992[4] and in 2006 Calmar had a population of 1,959 living in 741 dwellings, a 3.0% increase from 2001. The town has a land area of 4.34 km² (1.7 sq mi) and a population density of 451.1/km² (1,168.3/sq mi).[2]
