The NexxNow Buffalo Dragons (called Buffalo Dragons in shorthand) are a franchise in the Premier Basketball League which will begin play for the 2009 season.[1] The team will be owned by NexxNow, Inc..[2]
The team will play their home games at the Burt Flickinger Center at Erie Community College.[1]
A unique feature with the Dragons is that the Buffalo Dragons will not only field top American talent but have a few Chinese players as well to further advance the mission of NexxNow Inc. to broadcast games back to China so the people of China can see their countrymen compete against the Western talent.
The team is not to be confused with the Buffalo Sharks, the team formerly known as the Silverbacks and Rapids, which will resume play in the ABA in 2008-09 after a yearlong hiatus.
