Aurano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 130 km northeast of Turin and about 15 km northeast of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 110 and an area of 21.1 km².[1]
Aurano borders the following municipalities: Cannero Riviera, Falmenta, Intragna, Miazzina, Oggebbio, Premeno, Trarego Viggiona.
