[edit] License tagging for Image:Zerogame.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zerogame.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mega Man Zero

Thanks for the help with the Mega Man Zero article. However, you must be a lot more careful with your edits. Some of the pictures you posted were in the wrong section or too small or unnecessary, and I think you might have accidentally screwed up the reference tags. Please be more careful in the future. [edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Zerostripe.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Zerostripe.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:55, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Zero Recoil Rod.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zero Recoil Rod.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Heli attack training weapon top.GIF. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. [edit] Deletion of Flash game Flash Trek 2

Hi. just want to let you know, an editor has nominated Flash Trek 2, for deletion. the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria, and explained why in their nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

We'd appreciate your help with this matter. Please feel free to join the discussion, at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Flash Trek 2 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Appreciate if you could please help here, either by joining the discussion and/or improving the article. this is one of the most sophisticated Flash games, and one the most well-known. let's try to make sure that at least some of the signficant Flash games remain documented here at Wikipedia. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 14:17, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

I will try to at a CVG info box, which may help. Assasin Joe talk 21:34, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

hi. thanks so for your help with Flash Trek 2 just now. We probably don't have much time to fix the article, if it can be fixed. Any other ideas on ways to prevent it from being deleted? feel free to let me know any ideas at all. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 22:00, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
More links may help. Assasin Joe talk 19:42, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Deoxys Meteroite.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Deoxys Meteroite.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Zero picture

It is an atrocious picture. MMX Zero is just slapped on to a screenshot from MMZ1. Wikipedia should some sort of standard. And if it's to portray the differences in designs, the pictures in the infobox do the job just fine. There's no need for another picture in that case.Satoryu (talk) 20:34, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

A MMX Zero was not slapped on, it was a screenshot from a Megaman Promotional Demo. The pictures in the infobox does not protray the MMX Zero and the MMZ1 Zero appearence diffrence from the game graphics, just from the promotional art. Reducing the size will make the screnshot seem not as "atrocious". I still don't understand why Wikipedia should not have this screenshot on the articles. Assasin Joe talk 04:15, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
I won't add it on anymore, I understand now. Assasin Joe talk 20:34, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your welcome template

Is very nice. You know you can save the code to a subpage then transclude it on user's talk pages. Much cleaner for their pages and such. LaraLove 17:00, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your advice. This templete is actually property of TomasBat, but I will alert him of your message, and will attempt to do it on my own as well. Assasin Joe talk 23:35, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] help with article

Hi Assasin Joe. you helped me a while back with Flashtrek2. I would like to ask your help again in the same area. there is a discussion of whther to keep List of browser-based Flash games. I made some improvements to the article; since then, no one else posted to support deletion, but we still need some further support. do you think you could please post a message in support? i really appreciate it. Here'sd the link: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of browser-based Flash games. i appreciate any help you might be able to give. thanks. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 20:59, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think that even If I help it will change much. I think the best move would be to merge the article into another related article, as there may be another list of flashgames out there. I will try to improve it, however. Assasin Joe talk 22:57, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
I found some lists of games that may catergorize the games listed on your article.

[edit] Viva pinata

Hiya, just a comment aabout the viva pinata image on your user page. Since that image is subject to fair-use policy would having it on your page violate that? John.n-IRL 18:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, sorry about that Assasin Joe talk 14:38, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
