Artem the Bear is a vicious creature who lives deep inside a cave and legends say he plays the guitar. Russian tourists went to the undiscovered park south of Ventura. They took the epic trail and discovered many creatures along the way, one of them almost got eaten by a dog. As these tourists walked they heard a guitar and vicious roaring, they heard the song before and it was a Russian song called "War Constant Shooting Over Your Head, and in the dirt is lying my best friend"; they were shocked so they proceeded with their journey toward the song. As they got closer and closer they had to pass difficult obstacles and there it was "The Cave", as they approached it they saw a Huge Bear playing the guitar with his paws. The bear charged them, as they ran all they could think about was life. They had finally reached the Champagne colored car with super rims, one of them reportedly jumped on top of the roof as the others jumped inside the car. The ments drove up and went to explore the dangerous cave but nothing was there. One of the survivors, Aptyp, claims that he saw the Medved sitting on a derevashka taking a kakashka and playing the guitar. Ever since that day the civilians hear the roar of the bear at night. The bear is celebrated in Russian history from that day. Myth or not, not all who journey to the cave come back.

Paul Hammacott MA (born 8 August 1965) is an English artist of Anglo-Saxon origin, one of the group known as Britartists or YBAs (Young British Artists). Notoriously reclusive, despite spending the greater part of the last decade within south Asia, he has nonetheless, succeeded in equalling, if not surpassing, Damien Hirst among the YBAs in terms of notoriety among the general public.

Never before has such a fervor been upheaved in recent years as has Michael Moore and his string of documentaries.

The latest offering comes from an old High School classmate of Mikes. His name is Kevin Leffler.

Mr. Leffler is a Davison, (MI.) High School graduate, as well as former classmate of Moores, and still resides there. He is an average run of the mill insurance salesman in the town of Davison. MI. (Leffler Insurance Agency) What drove Kevin Leffler to produce a "documentry" based on the early childhood years of Mike Moore, is beyond this writer. But I dare speculate.

Mr. Moore has been a very successful filmaker, no doubt. And his Liberal leanings upset many around the nation. His new theatrical release, SICKO is one of the most anticipated films in a while. But in his hometown, where they call themselves the "City of Flags", Mr. Moore has been shunned, to put it mildly.

In the last 5 years or so, (especially since Farenheit 911) Micheal Moore has been a polarizing subject around water coolers and parade patrons alike.

A little background on Davison, MI. This is a town of about 5,500 people, some 12 miles east of the downtrodden city of Flint. (You remember Flint, Mi.? The worst city to live in, named by a variety of magazines and publications. And the subject of Moores first cult hit, 'Roger and Me'). Half of Davison citizens seemingly are veterans of military, or some form of law enforcement; retired or otherwise. This author has lived there for over 11 years, so I think I can give you an honest opinion here. There are more Firefighters, Police, and civic personell living there than you can shake a stick at. There are prison guards from a nearby prison. Even a District Court in the Davison city hall. Pretty much Mayberry RFD, if you know what I mean.

So; when people start to harange about F911, and other films like Bowling for Columbine, the town tends to engage you. Like the time that Mr. Moore was nominated for the High Schools Hall of Fame. For years, anyone who was nominated could get voted a nice plaque and submission of accomplishments along a nice hallway outside of the HS gymnasium. There are Navy Admirals. Business dignitaries. Even Ken Morrow, a Davison grad, and Olympic Gold medalist Hockey player. (1980 Miracle on Ice).

But when Mikes name came up, and a lot of people agreed he should be honored for his Oscar winning film career alone, the towns "old guard" about blew a gasket. So much so; they voted to END the taking of Hall nominees. They actually voted and scrapped the whole thing. Now there is no longer a yearly Hall inductee! Can you imagine? Ending a nice civic recognition event like that? Oh, it gets better.

Some people tried to get city council to at least acknowledge Mr. Moore as a well known individual from that city, and get a roadside sign stating such. After all, Ken Morrow and a bunch of State Champion sports teams have signs erected, why not an Academy Award Winning filmaker? Again, an uproar from the more traditional conservatives in the area. No signs.

Which brings us to Mr. Kevin Leffler. This person has been so engrossed with what Micheal Moore has done for the last decade, he saw fit to produce an "anti" Mike Moore documentary. "Shooting Micheal Moore'

In the newspaper write up, this author can't seem to locate through a website called Mlive.com; Mr. Leffler depicts the early stages of what Mike was like. What he used to do. The childhood shenanigans and whatnot. Why? No one has figured that out yet. One could assume jealousy. Envy. Even cashing in on what has become a very notable figure in todays political hotbed. Whatever the reason, Mr. Kevin Leffler sure seems hellbent on trashing Mike. Again, why? It makes no sense. All Mr. Leffler has done is make himself look small. A whining malcontent, who is taking potshots at a guy he was friends with 30 something years ago.

One point Mr. Leffler tries to make in 'Shooting' is the contention that during the making of Roger and Me, Moore made some people he featured sign waivers to appear in the extreme low budget documentary. What Mr. Leffler doesn't reveal is how far in debt Mike was trying to complete the film. Without even so much as any hope of ever getting it to be seen! But Kevin Leffler criticises Moore for not rewarding these "cast" members with thousands of dollars, much later, after the film finally got recognition as a cult film. He even claims he (Leffler) is going to donate a portion of his profits (if there ever are any)to some charities. Which, I never have heard. In some type of atempt to undermine Moore, while cashing in on the persons fame and fortune. "How's THAT for your basic commie plot?" -- to quote George C Scott in Dr. Strangelove.

I encourage you all to NOT choose to pay cash to this guys website to view a copy of his film. Even the name of the picture is disturbing. "SHOOTING" someone. As in taking pictures, or............ You get the picture.

Perhaps Mr. Kevin Leffler should stick to selling insurance. I won't be holding my breath waiting for the Oscar nominees for "ficticious" film.

Otherworld Fan Fiction began in November of 2003 with the first book called "Otherworld" The story of Princess Aara and a land called Otherworld. It has since then grown into a multi-part story, currently up to 10 books. These stories incorperate many various Animes characters, although most of the time they don't retain their personality from their shows. The pictures are used to match a certain character in the stories. The author has also included a poety section where fan may submit their works. As of now Fanfics of Otherworld characters are being accepted as long as they meet certin guild lines.

Born in San Diego, CA Matt Mccoy grew up in the church. In 1993 he moved to Syracuse, IN where he began leading the youth worship at age 13. He continued this until his recent move to the Vineyard Community Church (cincinnati).

Since 2003 Matt has been leading the worship of SOS, or SUmmer of Service. A youth conference of more than 800 students from the midwest held anually at the Vineyard Community Church. Recently Matt has opened for Sanctus Real and Jeremy Riddle, two of the biggest acts on the christian music scene.

Matt also recently released his newest song and music video titled "Revelation Generation". This track will be featured as the headlining song during the SOS 2007 conference.

The United nations gang, otherwise known as the "UN Gang" is one of the most violent and feared gangs in Canada. The gang is made of many nationalities; mainly White, Asian, Persian and Indo Canadian. Having a strong hold in the weapons and drug trade they are very sophisticated. They are thought to be very violent compared to some organized crime groups and have even had clashes with the Hells Angels in recent years. Thought to originate out of Vancouver, Abbotsford and Chilliwack, the group is said to have taken over the east side Vancouver drug trade. The group is said to consist of men in their mid 20's and operates on the premises of fear and intimidation.

Guilherme de Melo was born in 1931 in Mozambique to Portuguese parents. Robert Aldrich describes his life: Melo lived through the protracted war of independence in the Portuguese colony in the 1960's and 1970's. His novel The Shadow of the Daysis: a remarkable account of growing up gay in the privileged environment of a white family in colonial Mozambique before the outbreak of war and of leading an openly gay lifestyle against the background of an increasingly bitter anti-colonial war...The most gripping part of the novel is the description of the dramatic events which brought all this to an end and led to the Portuguese exodus. BMX SHOES

BMX shoes, similar to their skate-shoe counterpart, are shoes specifically designed and manufactured for use in bmxing. While many non-BMX'ers choose to wear BMX shoes, the design of the BMX shoe includes many features designed for use in BMXing. These features almost invariably include a flat sole made of rubber or polyurethane, a suede or leather composition, and double or triple stitching. BMX shoe companies,(for example "G" BMX X-Cess, founded by Timm E G, and "NTL" BMXer & Co., founded by Mosh Man) have also integrated many other pieces of technology into their shoes. These innovations serve to do many things such as to prevent heel bruises, add "pedal feel", and help grip one's pedals. These include but are not limited to:

Vulcanized rubber soles Air pockets in the heels Shoelace protectors DGT ("NTL") Super Suede ("NTL") System G2 Cushioning ("G") STI foam ("G") Lace Loops that "hide" shoelaces 'Action Leather'

Many of the features of the BMX Shoe are designed to increase its durability. The BMX Shoe is subjected to the abrasiveness of a BMX pedal's grip tape on a regular basis when worn by BMX'ers. This is why BMX'ers tend to go through shoes quickly. Super Suede, Action Leather, and plastic underlying the toe cap seek to remedy this problem. Lace loops and protectors are designed to prevent laces from snapping.

HISTORY

On June Twenty, 2007, Timm E G overheard Mosh Man discussing his idea of opening a BMX Shoe shop. Timm E G, quite the individual thinker, "piggybacked", as he described, on this idea and opened "G" BMX Enterprises. Mosh Man, realising his fault of not saying "COPYRIGHTED" or "PATENT PENDING" after mentioning his idea to him. "What right do you have to open a BMX shoe shop, you can't even bunny-hop" Mosh Man asked after the grand opening of the first of a long chain of "G" BMX X-Cess BMX shoe shops, to which Timm E G replied; "My bike's too heavy, and besides, you can't do the leap of faith". Ending one of the many exact same arguments that had been discussed for the past year, Mosh Man decided to open his own chain of BMX shoe shops that also specialised in laces, "NTL" BMXer & Co. This prompted an aggressive BMX shoe shop advertising campaign which was eventually ended by Timm E G throwing a pie at Mosh Man on national TV.

Warren Weitzman was one of the world's first domain investors. Through creativity, perseverance, and initiative, he is now considered an authority in the world of domain investing.

Warren was born in Omaha, Nebraska and attended both UCLA and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his graduate work at American University in Washington, DC with masters degrees in psychology and criminal justice. As a counseling psychologist and licensed clinical social worker Warren Weitzman specialized in helping individuals and organizations achieve higher levels of mental health and founded and ran rehabs for substance abuse. Unfortunately, in the early 1990's most insurance companies stopped covering mental health related claims and it became more difficult to deliver treatment services.

It was at this point Warren Weitzman found himself at a crossroads. Would he press on in the mental health field or would he start an entirely new career? Warren decided to embark into a new and unknown industry. It was 1994 and the internet was a word that the majority of the population had not even heard of. Warren saw the potential of this new arena and decided to start one of the nation's capitol’s first ISP's in Rockville, Maryland.

Around this time Warren Weitzman became fascinated with domain names. So, he started registering the names of his relatives and friends. Warren registered names like bob.com, warren.com, nicole.com and many others. As the years went on he began registering hundreds of names most of which were catch phrases he liked and the names of people he knew or worked with. Believe it or not Warren even began giving away some of those names to his friends as gifts. And not just any names, domain names like bob.com, and numerous other high value domains.

Ceithearna Coille. Irish language activists who wish to raise the profile of the Irish language rights campaign through peaceful, direct, visual action.

The Ceithearna Coille are a group which first came to public attention in the early months of 2007. This was a time when Irish speakers in the north of Ireland where campaigning for liguistic equality, seeking the same rights for Irish speakers as those granted to English speakers.

The Ceithearna Coille focused their efforts on a campaign to bring about bilingual road signage in areas which the population would favour such. To highlight this demand, members of the group placed stickers reading 'As Gaeilge Anois!' or 'In Irish Now!' on hundreds of signs in nationalist areas across the north's six counties.

The group, through it's website [2] have issued a number of press releases, which have caught the attention of the Irish national broadcaster RTÉ, the BBC, The Gardian Newspapers, Irish Language newspaper 'Lá Nua' and the Belfast Newsletter.

The group does not claim links to any political party, in fact the only other organisation praised on their site is 'Na Gaeil Óga', a national network of young Irish speakers with branches in universities and colleges throughout Ireland.

The Ceithearna Coille have stated that their campaign of peaceful action will continue until their demands for bilingual signage are met. They cite the fact that 95% of Ireland's placenames come directly from Gaelic as the motivation behind thier actions and justification for their demands. In May 2007, the Ceithearna Coille opened an online shop selling the stickers used in thier campaign and encouraging others to join in. The Ceithearna Coille claim now to have many groups working on both sides of Irelands north/south devide.

In June 2007, The Department of Regional Development NI issued a statement in relation to the sticker campaign in the Newry/South Armagh/SouthDown area. They have threatened to bring those responsible to justice unless the stickers are removed.

The work of Na Ceithearna Coille has also brought about negitive criticism from anti-Gaelic and Unionist groups. Letters to the editor of the 'Belfast Newsletter' have been strong in their opposition to the defacing of signage.

Crossways Magazine is a Christian Magazine published by Chris Johnson in Lake Mary, FL. Crossways started in 2004 as a 16 page publication with a distribution of 700 people. As of Summer 2007, the magazine has a distribution of 45,000 families and consists of 36 pages. Sam Liebert (born May 8, 1985) is a Political Campaign Staff member with Senator Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign for 2008. He also had a short run for City Council in his hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin.

He was born Samuel Elliott Liebert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from George S. Parker High School in Janesville in 2003. He attended University of Wisconsin-Rock County from 2005 - 2006. At UW-Rock County, he organized the first College Democrats of America chapter on campus.

During the United States general elections, 2006 - Sam worked for Senator Russ Feingold's Leadership PAC, the Progressive Patriots Fund. Through the PAC, he worked in Ohio as a Field Staff member for now United States Senator - Sherrod Brown.

In 2007, Sam accepted a Field Staff job with former Iowa Governor, Tom Vilsack. Governor Vilsack's campaign was short lived, and dropped out February, 23. Since then, Sam has worked for Senator Barack Obama's campaign in Iowa, the first state to Caucus for the Democratic Primary.

First mentioned in the Domesday Book, Lutwyche Hall is thought to be one of Shropshires finest country residences. The Current Hall is a Jacobean Red Brick Manshion near Much Wenlock in the Village of East Hope in Shropshire. The Mansion has 2 Libraries, 9 Bedrooms, a Stable Block and access to 64 Acres with Shooting and Fishing rights.

History

On the Site of the hall is an ancient Celtic Hillfort which is thought to date back to 500 BC. A hall of some sort can be dated back to the Domesday Book (1086). The Hall was held by the Lutwyche Family for some 700 hundred years. The current hall is based around a 16th C Jacobean Property.

During the 18th century, William Lutwyche, who happened to be High Sherrif of Shropshire carried out modernisation and extension works to the building. He closed the courtyard and made the space into a dining room and installed a huge decorative staircase to the building.

In 1785, there was a dispute over the inheritance and Lutwyche Hall was sold to a Mr Moses Benson who was the Governor of Bermuda. After this period of ownership, the Hall became a grammar school, before falling into disrepair and suffering a fire. It was then renovated to its present state.

Lutwyche Hall was the home and birth place of Novelist Stella Benson during the latter part of the 19th C and early part of the 20th C

Myths and Ghosts

The Ghost of 13th Century Robber Ippikin is said to roam the cliff area between Presthope and Lutwyche Hall on Wenlock Edge. The Ghost is said to be a malicious spirit who pushes the unwary to their deaths over the Wenlock Edge.

Michael Danziger is the founder and President of The Steppingstone Foundation, an organization which helps children from under-served backgrounds get into schools that lead to college. Mr. Cartoon was a children's program that aired on WSAZ TV 3 in Huntington, West Virginia for over thirty years. The show was originally hosted by George Lewis, who also served as host of WSAZ's Steamboat Bill children's show in the 1950s. After a few years, Lewis retired and left the station to take a job in Philadelphia in 1969, and then became Baltimore, Maryland's Captain Chesapeake.

The man most recognized by Tri-State (West Virginia, Southern Ohio, and Eastern Ky.) television viewers as Mr. Cartoon was WSAZ's weather man, Jule Huffman,who took over the show and stayed as host until his retirement in 1995. Huffman's Mr. Cartoon was accompanied by an animal sidekick, known as Beeper. Beeper joined the show in 1974. Before that, Mr. Cartoon was generally accompanied by one of Hanna-Barbera Productions' "Banana Splits". Beeper was originally known as Mr. Cartoon's "friend", and got the name Beeper following a contest in which kids got to send in their suggestions for the creature's name. The two would play cartoons for a studio audience of children, whom Huffman had decided to add to the show after Lewis left. While cartoons and commercials aired, the children would play off-camera games such as musical chairs. One of the show's daily segments featured a selected audience member attempting to answer a riddle as read by Mr. Cartoon, with Mr. Cartoon reminding the audience member that if they answered incorrectly, they would get "twenty lashes across the naked eyeball with a wet noodle" and later the "yucket bucket". (In actuality, the "yucket bucket" was a pail of confetti.) The show aired on weekday afternoons for one hour at 4PM until September 1988(The day after Labor Day). At that time, the station desired to attract a more "adult" audience which would produce more advertising revenues and replaced that time slot with "Oprah" . From Sept. 1988 until May 1995, the Mr. Cartoon program was shown on Saturday mornings.

'Grit Weed' has become the colloquial name for a general form of contaminated herbal cannabis that has been treated with a variety of unknown sand / grit like substances which appear to have been added to the plant prior to harvest in order to increase the weight of the plant’s yield.

The first reports of this so called gritweed in the UK dates back to Spring / Summer 2006 when a handful of localized cases were identified. Since then the supply of this contaminated "skunk" appears to have increased dramatically, infiltrating all levels of the supply chain throughout the British Isles. Regular cannabis users now report that this gritweed is predominantly the only type of herbal cannabis available to them - a situation that many feel is a direct result of the police's recent wave of crackdowns on UK based cannabis growers which has had a marked effect on both the levels and quality of supply.

Currently it seems there are four main types of contaminant grit-weeds flooding the UK market, these are:

- Large Glass Particle Contamination
- Industrial Etchant Spray Contamination
- Sugar or Sand Contamination
- Micro Contaminants (stealth grit)

Bill Phillips (American Baseball Pitcher and Manager)

William Corcoran Phillips, nickname Whoa Bill or Silver Bill, was born November 9, 1868, in Allenport, PA, died on October 25, 1941, in Charleroi, PA. He is buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Fayette City, PA.

Bill Phillips is best remembered for managing 1914 Indianapolis Hoosiers to the Federal League pennant. His top hitter was Benny Kauf and top pitcher was Cy Falkenberg. Later he and Bill McKechnie managed the Newark Pepper finishing the 1915 season 5th in the Federal League.

At the age of 21, Phillips broke into the big leagues on August 11, 1890, playing his first 10 games for the Pittsburgh Alleghenys. As a player he pitched for 7 seasons in the majors. In 1895 he came back to play 18 more games for the Cincinnati Red. In 1899 he went 17-9 on a team that featured 19-year-old rookie Wahoo Sam Crawford and manager Buck Ewing. Phillips played for the Cincinnati Reds from 1899 to 1903, playing his last game on September 22.
