The Fifty first Oklahoma Legislature is the current meeting of the legislative branch of the government of Oklahoma, composed of the Senate and the House of Representatives. It is scheduled to meet in Oklahoma City from February 3, 2007 to February 2, 2009, during the first two years of the second administration of Governor Brad Henry.

- First time Republicans have ever held a majority in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for more than one term.
- First time Republicans have ever held an equal number of seats with Democrats in the Oklahoma Senate. However, since the Democrats have the tie breaking vote of Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma Jari Askins, they hold the position of President pro tempore of the Oklahoma Senate.
- Republican Senator Nancy Riley switched to the Democratic Party in the summer of 2006.[1]
