The 1993 British Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Silverstone on July 11, 1993. It was the ninth round of the 1993 Formula One season.

- Pole position: Alain Prost - 1:19.006
- Fastest lap: Damon Hill - 1:22.515 on lap 41
- Damon Hill was on course for a home win, but on lap 42, his engine blew up and caused him to retire. He was gutted.
- Ayrton Senna's McLaren surprisingly stopped at the same spot that where he had stopped in the last 2 years because he ran out of fuel. However, this time he finished in the points, in 5th position.
