The highlight of the season was the arrival of Frank Robinson to the club. In 1975, the Cleveland Indians named him player-manager, giving him distinction of being the first black manager in the Majors. [1]

  • June 7, 1975: Blue Moon Odom was traded by the Cleveland Indians with a player to be named later to the Atlanta Braves for Roric Harrison. The Cleveland Indians sent Rob Belloir (June 16, 1975) to the Atlanta Braves to complete the trade. [3]
