The 1972 Green Bay Packers season was their 52nd season in the National Football League. The club posted a 10-4 record under coach Dan Devine, earning them the 1st place finish in the NFC Central division. This marked the return of the Packers to the playoffs after a four-year drought. The Packers lost in the Divisional Playoffs to the Washington Redskins 16-3.
