The 1965 Green Bay Packers season was their 45th season in the National Football League. The club posted a 10-3-1 record under coach Vince Lombardi, earning them a tie for 1st place in the Western Conference with the Baltimore Colts. The Packers and Colts played a one-game playoff which the Packers won 13-10 in overtime. The Packers then went on to beat the Cleveland Browns 23-12 in the NFL Championship Game. This marked the Packers 9th NFL Championship and the last Championship game before the NFL-AFL merger and the advent of the Super Bowl.
