Did Jerry Rider change his name to Matt Stafford? Because everywhere I look, it was Rider who was on the Letterman show, not this Stafford gentleman. And while the captain hook bit and "He is now rank 3rd in the world, behind Billy Bob and Bubba Cletus" are funny, they're not factual (unless you can come up with some sources). Please quit screwing up the noodling page. --Crispyinstilly 14:40, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shields memorial home
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked indefinitely without further warning.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. Ruhrfisch 19:10, 30 April 2007 (UTC) This article has been proposed for deletion because it does not seem to meet notability requirements. The person adding it identifies themself as the owner / operator, which leads to conflict of interest and spam violations. Please see what Wikipedia is not. This notice has also been placed on Talk:Shields memorial home. Thanks, Ruhrfisch 19:03, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

This example of the usage in culture isn't really appropriate for inclusion in the article. It does not have any significant meaning or noteworthiness. Also, I highly doubt that it is sourceable. This term is used very often, and not every use is relevant to the article. - Che Nuevara 21:05, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Aurora Snow, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Tabercil (talk) 17:04, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
