[edit] WikiProject:Severe weather

Hello Wxweenie, thanks for your interest. To join, you merely have to sign up at the project page, which I see you have already done. So, welcome to the project!

There really is no main collaborative project going on right now. One article which badly needs attention is severe weather, which I began a complete re-write on recently. If other subjects attract your interest, you can collaborate with other members of the project to improve articles they are currently working on. User:CrazyC83 has been keeping Tornadoes of 2006 and Tornadoes of 2007 updated and sourced. User:Evolauxia has been doing some great work with technical articles on tornadoes, such as the main tornado article and Convective storm detection, and User:Gopher backer has been working on individual tornado articles, mainly in the Minnesota area. I myself am working on Connecticut and New England tornado articles, (List of Connecticut tornadoes, Northeastern United States tornado outbreak of 1989, etc.) as well as other years in the List of tornado events by year series. I am pretty much looking to work on anything to do with severe weather though, so if you're looking for help with anything, let me know. Cheers! -RunningOnBrains 00:26, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WPTC Active Members

The Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones has changed greatly since it was first started, and according to our main page we now have 87 members. However, we only have a small group of members that are still active, and as such, I am sending this out to all users on the participants list. If you are still active, please sign your name here. If you do not wish to be part of the project any more, or if you do not answer to this, you will be placed on an inactive users list after a period of two weeks. If you wish to rejoin after you are put on the inactive users list, you are welcome to rejoin. Cheers. --Hurricanehink (talk) 18:46, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Winter storms

There is a discussion started by User:Juliancolton at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Meteorology about a proposed/possible new WikiProject called WikiProject Winter storms. Feel free to voice your opinion on the proposal.--JForget 01:29, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quick note: User talk:67.175.104.18

Sure, simply report persistent vandals on this page, and so long as they have been sufficiently warned they'll be blocked shortly and any vandalism cleared up. Cheers =) --slakrtalk / 04:25, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] La Junta low

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article La Junta low, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
