WVXX (1050 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish contemporary music format. Licensed to Norfolk, Virginia, USA, it serves the Hampton Roads area. The station is currently owned by Davidson Media Station Wvxx Licensee, LLC.
This station had been country music formatted WCMS during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. In 1987 it was urban contemporary WRAP. In the late 90s the station became easy listening WFOG, but later flipped to classic country returning the WCMS calls. Finally, the station was purchased by Davidson Media and became a Spanish station.
