Wrapid is the brand name of a chain of fast food outlets in the United Kingdom. The chain specialises in hot wraps with a range of fillings based on different world cuisines, including English, Italian, Mexican, Indian and Chinese options. More recently, the chain has broadened its horizons by offering a variety of light bites including snacks such as flapjacks, muffins and brownies to name but a few.Wrapid branded fruit and nuts, plus a cold range for sale in the Convenience sector has been successfully launched.
Wrapid is also involved with Plan UK, one of the largest child-centred community development organisations in the world.
The first experimental outlet was opened at Albion Place, Leeds in 2004, which has since been followed by the opening of an outlet on Coney Street, York in August 2006 (this outlet closed in Summer 2007 due to a short term lease). Further expansion of the company is planned for 2007/08. It has opened at Leeds University in September 2007 and in Soho London (D'arbly St) on September 5th 2007. Dubai opens in Festival City in Feb 2008, Wrapid opened its first site on a Franchise with the 8000 strong Enterprise Inns Group in Pontefract, West Yorkshire on Dec 17th, this serves beer/wine,great company for a piping hot wrap...
