WLOV-TV is the Fox network affiliate for the Columbus/Tupelo/West Point, Mississippi television market. The station broadcasts on UHF channel 27, with a digital signal on channel 16. It is legally owned by the Lingard Broadcasting Corporation, but is controlled by the Spain family, owners of area NBC affiliate WTVA, through a local marketing agreement. The TV logo states digital channel 16 but over-the-air reception is on remapped channel 27-1.

The station's general manager is Jennifer Dennington.

From its inception as WVSB-TV in 1983 until August 1994, WLOV was an ABC affiliate. WLOV was a dual ABC/Fox affiliate until the ABC contract ended. During this brief overlap, ABC programming aired during the day and during prime time. The Fox primetime lineup aired during the late night hours. On October 10, 1995, WLOV began using the Fox 27 moniker when ABC was dropped by the station and became a full-time Fox affiliate. ABC wouldn't return over the air to northern Mississippi until WKDH signed on from Houston in 2001.
