"Wish I Had An Angel" is a metal song recorded by Finnish symphonic power metal quintet Nightwish for their fifth studio album Once (2004). The song features both Marco Hietala's and Tarja Turunen's vocals.
Featured on the soundtrack of the film Alone in the Dark (2005), it became the group's most popular single in Europe and in the United States, next to Nemo. It made it on to two U.S. film soundtracks. In the United Kingdom, it was the band's biggest hit, reaching #60. [1]
The music video for it was directed by Uwe Boll, the director of Alone in the Dark.
