The airline was established in 2003 and started operations on 10 June 2003. It is owned 100% by Lion Air. It operates domestic flights but plans to serve international destinations such as Singapore and Malaysia.

Domestic scheduled destinations (at January 2005): Denpasar Bali, Fak Fak, Jakarta, Luwuk, Manado, Mataram, Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Sorong, Ternate, Yogyakarta and Malang.
