WikiProject Theatre
As it currently stands, the vast majority of Wikipedia's articles relating to theatre are quite pitiful. While many of the important topics do have existing articles, the quality of those articles is poor. The goal of this project is to improve the articles relating to theatre thus making Wikipedia one of the best online resources on the subject. If you would like to participate in the project, please sign up below and see the to-do list. Also note the talk page.

Any and all articles related to theatre on Wikipedia including, but not limited to:
- Drama (including plays, musicals etc)
- Technical Theatre/Stagecraft (including costume design and construction, lighting, sound makeup, scenery, props etc)
- Biographies of theatrical folk (such as playwrights, actors, theatre companies, directors and producers)
- Theatre history (including Greek theatre, Chinese theatre, Roman theatre, Commedia dell'arte, Kabuki, Renaissance theatre, Epic theatre etc)
- Modern theatre (i.e. Experimental theatre, Theatre of Cruelty, Physical theatre etc)
- Genres (Comedy, Tragedy, etc)
- Theatres, ie theatre buildings, venues and structures

- To create articles to cover the topic of theatre comprehensively. This also includes covering articles on non-western theatre.
