Mainly, these are articles on films and either their source or subsequent musicals. There are a couple where the musical needs to be "forked" from the source material. Feel free to add or remove as necessary. Important: If you split an article, please make sure that you move all the relevant links from the first article to the new one. To find which links to move, click on "What links here" at the old article and look through the list to see which links should be pointed to the film related link (for example, articles on actors in the film). Then, click on those links and update them to point to the film article. Thanks!

Create articles for Tony Award and Olivier Award winners - actors, directors, authors, etc. Add {{Musicals-project}} tag to articles for relevant performers, composers, writers, directors and choreographers that do not have the project tag. Add references to articles. See WP:CITE and WP:RS. Improve articles to Good Article status and eventually to Featured Article status. Add {{Infobox Musical}} to articles in need of an infobox. Participate in our Collaboration of the Month Current Create Trouble (The Music Man song) and other articles on key songs from musicals (The Music Man has 4 so far, but this one is a major omission, as it is the best known from the musical). • musicals (including revues, but excluding musical films)
• composers, lyricists and librettists
• directors and choreographers
• producers
• performers
• genres (rock musical, Edwardian musicals, etc.)
• songs from musicals and cast albums

Exclusions

Articles pertaining to:

• theatres, ie venues - these form part of the WikiProject Theatre
• musical films
• operettas - these form part of the WikiProject Opera, although if it is a grey area, there is nothing wrong with categorizing the work in both places
• Gilbert and Sullivan - these are covered by WikiProject Gilbert and Sullivan
• operas - these are covered by WikiProject Opera
