Welcome to Tenacious D WikiProject!

Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Tenacious D.

Tenacious D is an American rock band composed of musician/actors Kyle Gass and Jack Black. The band first gained popularity in 1999 when they starred in the eponymously titled Tenacious D TV series, in which JB and Kage tried to establish themselves as "The D" and the "Greatest Band on Earth." Their first album Tenacious D achieved success in becoming gold after being heavily bootlegged. In addition, Tribute has become a cult hit. In 2006, the D brought their message to the big screen, starring in Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny.
