[edit] Jason Bonham
Jason Bonham (born July 15, 1966) is an English drummer and son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, born in Dudley, Worcestershire.
He first began playing drums at the age of 4, and appeared with his father in the film The Song Remains the Same, drumming on a scaled-down kit. In 1988, Bonham joined former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page for his Outrider album and tour. The following year, Bonham appeared with the 3 surviving members of Led Zeppelin for a "reunion" at Atlantic Records' 40th anniversary concert in New York. John Paul Jones believes Bonham's performance was outstanding that night. In May 1990, Bonham married Jan Charteris. His wedding reception included a jam with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones. In 1995, Jason represented his father when Led Zeppelin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bonham soon put together another solo project which culminated in In the Name of My Father - The Zepset, which featured the songs of Led Zeppelin. On 12 September 2007, it was announced that Jason Bonham would step into his father's shoes and play drums for a Led Zeppelin reunion concert. This took place on 10 December 2007 at London's O2 arena as part of an all-star tribute to Ahmet Ertegün.
[edit] Sandy Denny
Sandy Denny (born 6 January 1947 – died 21 April 1978) was an English singer and songwriter. She is best known for her involvement with the British folk rock movement, including two spells as a member of Fairport Convention, as well as her duet with Robert Plant on Led Zeppelin's 4th album in 1971 - the song "The Battle of Evermore". She was voted "Female singer of the year" by Melody Maker in 1970 and 1971. Tragically she died in 1978. Sandy Denny's renown grew after her death and her songs have been covered by many other artists. She is considered a founder of the British folk rock movement and perhaps its most important female singer and personality. It has been suggested that her effortless and smooth vocal delivery still sets the standard for many of today's female folk-based singers.
[edit] Terry Reid
Terry Reid (born 13 November 1949) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Huntingdon, England.
Then Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page became interested in Reid's work, and when The Yardbirds disbanded, Page wanted Reid to fill the vocalist spot for his proposed new group, which was to become Led Zeppelin. Reid suggested to Page that he consider a young Birmingham singer, Robert Plant, instead, having previously seen Plant's Band of Joy as a support act at one of his concerts.
