  • The RIAA have certified Led Zeppelin's albums at 111.5x Platinum, total U.S sales stand at 100 million, UK sales at about 13 million.
  • Led Zeppelin IV is notable in that it sold 23 million copies in the U.S alone (23x Platinum) which makes it the best-selling U.K studio album in the U.S, and the second best-selling studio album of all-time in the U.S., just behind Michael Jackson's Thriller (27x Platinum).
  • Jimmy Page was the producer of all the Led Zeppelin albums.
  • Before recording Led Zeppelin, all four members participated in the sessions for P.J. Proby's 1969 album Three Week Hero. The only track on which all four members appear on this release is "Jim's Blues." The band also sessioned on the song "Merry Hopkins Never Had Days Like These", the b-side of "The Day That Lorraine Came Down" in October 1968.
