Welcome to WikiProject Iran - a WikiProject set up to cooperate on all articles related to Iran and Iranians. The project was formed by Iranian Wikipedians on 18 March 2006. Its goals are to:

  • Improve the quality and quantity of Iran related articles.
  • Present a realistic view of Iran and the Iranian people in the world.
  • Make Wikipedia a primary and reliable source of Iran related information.
  • Improve the quality and quantity of Iran related articles, including improving Iran to featured article status.
  • Present a holistic view of Iran and her cultural satellites, and balance any biased information.
  • Make Wikipedia one of the premier online resources on Iran.
