[edit] How you can help
[edit] 1. Tag and assess fashion articles
If you see untagged fashion articles, add {{WikiProject Fashion}} to their talk pages. When you tag articles, it's best if you also assess them and rate their importance. See the template documentation for more information. We also need experienced editors to assess tagged articles that haven't been assessed yet--see Cat:Unassessed fashion articles.

- Article requests: Trina Turk Tory Burch Fashion line, d'Orsay (shoe), Juliet cap, Chesterfield coat, Guard's coat, Covert coat, Camelhair Polo coat, Ulster (coat), Balmacaan (coat), Burn-out, Theatrical costume, Creative director (fashion), all the designers that are red-linked on Fall 2008 fashion weeks -- see the list of fashion topics for more fashion terms in need of articles
- Create infoboxes for clothing companies, designers, editors, and models (should include original designer/magazine, current designer/magazine, etc)
- Split designer and label articles. Oscar de la Renta -> Oscar de la Renta (designer), Oscar de la Renta (fashion label)
- Expand Fashion week, Dolce & Gabbana, other articles in Cat:fashion stubs
- Improve Laura Dahl by adding an image and cleanup to warrant removal of COI.
- Translate History of clothing, Clothing in ancient Rome, and Clothing in the ancient world from French
- Re-make the Coat and Jacket articles, so that they aren't just lists, cause they could just be categories if they don't have their own information, not just summaries of the different coats. Also make sure they don't overlap anymore, leave out all jackets from the coat article and viceversa, this will imply you make an adequate distinction between them. It would also improve the articles to group the types of coats and jackets by sub-categories.
- Upload requested photographs of fashion, requested photos of clothing and cosmetics
- Improve 1945-1960 in fashion, 1960s in fashion, 1970s in fashion, 1980s in fashion, and 1990s in fashion to be up to the quality of the other fashion history articles.
