These parties really need to unify if they have any hope of succeeding.

[edit] Christie's defence of Holocaust deniers

including reference to Christie's defence of Holocaust deniers is relevant here because:

  1. Christie is the founder of the party;
  2. Christie is the leader of the party;
  3. Holocaust-denial is very much a "fringe" perspective, like Western separatism; and
  4. it helps explain why the WBP and the Western Canada Patty are unlikley to merge as an anon editor suggested above: the latter is unlikely to want to risk being seen as extremist by associating with Christie.

Most of these Western sepratist fringe groups have far-right sympathisers as their members or leaders. A white dominated Western Canada is the underlying theme, though never explicitly stated but neverthless comes out form time to time if one digs deep enough, also the supporters are white anglophones that are anti-minority, anti-immigration and detest multiculturalism. Aslo, they resent the domination of eastern Canadian cities that are more multicultural, not only overall but even in their European population i.e more southern europeans and jews in TO and Montreal while the west was in the past mostly anglohone or Western european dominated, but that has changed in the recent decades, Vancouver is now equally diverse and thus Western sepratism is not an idea that appeals to them, Also support for sepratism has been historically the weakest in Winnipeg, Manitoba 20:05, 09, February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Wesbloc2.png

Image:Wesbloc2.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
