This article is incomplete bot not invalid! Please take a look at this website for more details: http://www.al-islam.org/ghadir/incident.htm It has a number of valid references to both sunni and shiite contexts.

This is nonsense. It's not "equally accepted" by both Sunnis and Shias. Most Sunnis believe this event to be a figment of Shi'a imagination, while the rest only accept that some sort of sermon was given. Slacker 02:33, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
