Virginia Republican primary, 2008

The 2008 Virginia Republican primary took place on February 12, 2008. This is an open primary with 63 delegates (60 pledged delegates) at stake in a winner take all format. The District of Columbia and Maryland both hold primaries on the same day, combined they are referred to as the Potomac primary[1].
CNN has called the race for John McCain.[2]
