1. There is no free visual portrayal of Vice Principal Nero (a character created by Lemony Snicket) in existence. Any created version would not fulfill the encyclopedic use of this image, as it would not further anyone's understanding of the character in question.
2. The use of this image does not decrease the opportunity for sale of the book from which it comes (The Austere Academy) since 1) the book is not about Vice Principal Nero, nor does the image reveal any consequential knowledge as to the book's content, and 2) the image appears on the book's cover.
3. The use of this image contributes significantly to the article, since the section which it belongs to deals directly with the character portrayed in the image.
