Vârghiş or Vargyas (Romanian: Vârghiş; Hungarian: Vargyas) is a commune in Covasna County, Romania.

The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 1,902 of which 97.9% or 3,368 are Hungarian.
