For information on the 2006 Delaware race for the United States House, see Delaware congressional election, 2006.
The Delaware U.S. Senate election for 2006 was held November 7, 2006. Incumbent U.S. Senator Thomas R. Carper was completing his first term, and won re-election over Republican primary winner, Jan C. Ting with 70% of the vote. Carper's term will end on January 3, 2013.
