Hawaii gubernatorial election, 2006

The Hawaii governatorial election of 2006 was held on November 7, 2006. Incumbent Linda Lingle is the first Republican elected Governor of Hawaii since 1962, and in August 2006 she had an approval rating of 66% [1].
