Umm Salal (Arabic: أم صلال) is a municipality of Qatar.
It contains many historic places, such as Barzan Tower. It also contains the new town of Lusail, which is located on the coast in the northern part of the municipality. The municipal headquarters Umm Salal is located inland, about 10 km from the coast and 15 km north of Doha, the Qatari capital.
Umm Salal's eastern edge is the shores of the Persian Gulf. On land, it borders the following municipalities:
- Ad Dawhah - southeast
- Ar Rayyan - southwest
- Al Jumaliyah - northwest
- Al Khawr - north
