Al Jumaliyah's western edge is the shores of the Persian Gulf. On land, it borders the following municipalities:
- Al Ghuwariyah - north
- Al Khawr - northeast
- Umm Salal - east
- Ar Rayyan - southeast
- Jariyan al Batnah - south
