[edit] Gameplay

From the media released so far for the game, Ultimate Ninja Storm retains much of same gameplay from the Ultimate Ninja series, such as having the same controls as the previous installments. However, the game setting will be in 3D instead of the usual 2D background.[2]

It has been confirmed in an interview with the game's director Hitoshi Matsuyama that the game will not feature online play, but will have some downloadable content.[3]

[edit] Playable characters

There are currently 11 characters confirmed in the game according to currently released media. On the official internet page it states that the game will include 25 characters, not counting their transformations.

There are also clips of Shukaku, Gamabunta, and Jiraiya's toad, so it is possible that like Ultimate Ninja 3, they can be summoned.
