Naruto Shippūden 2: Bonds (NARUTO−ナルト− 疾風伝 絆 Naruto Shippūden: Kizuna?)[1] is the fifth overall Naruto film and second Naruto: Shippūden film based on the popular anime and manga series scheduled for release in August 2, 2008. The movie was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump along with the DVD release date for the first movie. Additionally, the teaser trailer for the second movie was aired with Naruto: Shippūden episode(s) 40-41.

[edit] Plot summary

A mysterious group of ninja makes a surprise attack on the Konohagakure, which almost destroys it. The nightmare of another Ninja World War could become a reality. Sasuke, who's still a missing ninja from Konoha, appears for the third time in front of Naruto at an unknown location to prevent it from coming to fruition.

The first teaser reveals Naruto and Sasuke fighting something in the heart of darkness. After activating his Sharingan, Sasuke sees Naruto fighting in the darkness. They run past noticing each other then begin to fight.

The second Teaser reveals that Naruto and Sasuke are fighting each other, and a Flying Stone Fortress attacks them. Then they started to run after the Stone Fortress with Sasuke using Chidori and Naruto using Rasengan.
