UEFA Cup 1999-2000

The UEFA Cup 1999-00 season was won by Galatasaray of Turkey, who defeated Arsenal of England in the final. The game was scoreless through the first ninety minutes and stayed that way through thirty minutes of extra time. The game went on to penalty kicks in which Gheorghe Popescu, the Romanian team captain, scored the winning kick to win the cup.
