Toyohashi Railroad

The Toyohashi Railroad (豊橋鉄道 Toyohashi Tetsudō?) is a transportation company in Toyohashi, Japan. The company or its lines are commonly known as Toyotetsu (豊鉄?). The company operates railway, tram, and bus lines, and belongs to the Meitetsu Group. It was founded in 1924, while the first section of its line opened in the next year. The company will introduce a smart card ticketing system in 2010.

Toyotetsu Bus operates local lines in and around Toyohashi, as well as the highway bus linking the city and Chūbu Centrair International Airport, the night bus linking the city and Tokyo.
