Tonnay-Boutonne is a commune in the canton of Tonnay-Boutonne of the Charente-Maritime department in the Poitou-Charentes region in western France. It is the chief town of the canton. It is in the hear of Saintonge, it has a small toan and is passed by the Boutonne river
