The Love Album is the eighth album and second cover album by Irish boy band Westlife and it was released on November 20, 2006. The songs on the album centers around the theme of "love".
The first single released was "The Rose", originally by Bette Midler, and it debuted at #1 in the UK.
The song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was initially planned as the second single but its release was later scrapped.

The album debuted at #1 on the UK Charts, selling 219 662 copies in the UK alone, beating other compilation albums from strong competitors such as Oasis' "Stop the Clocks", The Beatles' "Love" album and U2 "U218 Singles".[1]
