The Book of Taliesyn Tour is the first North American tour of British hard rock band Deep Purple. Tour promoted band's second (in the 4 month) studio album The Book of Taliesyn.[1]

In October 1968 Deep Purple realased The Book of Taliesyn. The band remained popular only in USA, so they confirmed Nort American dates. On some dates Deep Purple were supporting act for Cream. The tour kicked off with 2 sold out gigs in Los Angeles Inglewood Forum, followed by more than 4 shows sold out in the same venue, day after day. This tour proved to be band's first really successfull and commercial efort. Almost every concert was repeated in the the second night, in the same venue.[2]
