Are there any citations for the claim that the first few episodes were "critically panned"?

Is this really suppose to set in Shropshire? I'm not sure where the locals are suppose to be from but it sure isn't shropshire!

There was another reference to Shropshire tonight by Llewywn. When in the pub he jokingly said "Is this the Shropshire branch of Mensa?". I'd say that that's enough evidence to suggest it it supposedly in Shropsire. Melmer 22:35, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, you have to take these things with a grain of salt in television. Only Fools And Horses was filmed entirely in Bristol!

[edit] Moving The Episode List
