IMDb profile

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is an upcoming film based on the Street Fighter series of video games. It follows the quest of Street Fighter character Chun-Li, who will be portrayed by Smallville star Kristin Kreuk.[1] The film co-stars Neal McDonough as M. Bison, Chris Klein as Charlie, Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog, Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo as Vega. Rick Yune was originally cast as Gen but has been replaced by Robin Shou.[2] The film is scheduled for release in 2009.

Jean-Claude Van Damme, who played Guile in the 1994 live-action Street Fighter film, stated that he was approached and offered a part in this movie. He turned it down because, according to him, he is now being careful in choosing film roles.[3]
