Why is Terenure College nicknamed "The Gick"?

The college is called the gick because of the fact there used to be farm animals on the propety, i.e. cows, pigs, etc, Pig exceriment (Crap) was commonly called Gick in the mid 20th Century. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sdspot (talk • contribs) 02:16, August 22, 2007 (UTC).
